Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be granted for paid services on iryse.africa (“we”, “our”, or “the Platform”). We operate in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa, which governs the rights of consumers and businesses.
By purchasing any service from https://iryse.africa, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Scope of Paid Services
iryse.africa offers the following paid services:

Sponsored Opportunity Posts (e.g. bursaries, scholarships, funding)

Promotional Packages for Businesses and Institutions

Premium Placement or Visibility Enhancements
These are digital marketing and advertising services provided for a fixed duration.
2. General Refund Policy
Under normal circumstances, all purchases are final and non-refundable, as our services are considered digital goodsthat are delivered immediately or within a short turnaround time.
This is in line with Section 42 of the CPA, which allows limited exceptions for digital services, especially once performance has begun.
3. When Refunds Are Allowed
Refunds may be issued in the following situations:

Service not delivered: If we fail to publish or activate your listing/promotion within the agreed timeframe, and the issue is not resolved within 3 business days.

Duplicate charges: If you are charged more than once for the same service.

Error on our side: If the promotion was incorrectly displayed due to our fault (e.g., wrong category, broken link, wrong image) and you report the issue within 3 business days of publication.

Unlawful deductions: Any payment deducted without your authorization.
In these cases, you may be entitled to a refund or service credit, at our discretion.
4. When Refunds Are Not Granted
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

You change your mind after payment.

You provided incorrect or incomplete listing information.

You are unsatisfied with user engagement or performance (e.g., number of views, clicks, or applications).

You fail to use or activate the service during its active period.

You request cancellation after the service has already been rendered.
5. Refund Request Process
To request a refund (where eligible), email us at:

Proof of issue (e.g., screenshots, confirmation emails)
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction or the listing activation.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7โ14 business days via the original payment method.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you’re not satisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter to the National Consumer Commission under the CPA. However, we encourage resolving all issues directly with our team first for a faster outcome.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time in compliance with South African law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
